MYTH: Facial tissue is bad for your skin

Because tissues (Kleenex®) are made from wood pulp, it is said they can scratch your skin. Personally, I think this is ridiculous. You may be using an abrasive scrub on your face, yet you are told to worry about using facial tissue! So if you choose to use tissues, don’t think you are harming your skin. Obviously, softer tissues will feel better than the cheaper, coarser types. Either way, feel free to use tissue if you need to. I am not, however, a fan of tissuing things off your face. Instead, you want to rinse products off by using water and your hands to ensure everything has been removed.
