This is a detail from a beautiful staircase in an even more amazing cathedral in France. Details of exactly where and what cathedral will follow if I figure it out!

Another cathedral shot. Can you see the face?

You’re welcome! (Same nameless cathedral in France.)

Seashells and some polished rocks I picked up at one of my favorite places—the beach in Sete, France.

Somewhere in Barcelona, Spain, near the Olympic village. This looked like the huge ball was going to fall off the building.

At the Gaudi Cathedral, Barcelona, Spain. This is a detail of one of many carvings on the outside of the building.

This was taken in a little cafe near the Picasso Museum (Museu Picasso) in Barcelona, Spain.

Park Güell, Barcelona Spain. This was Antoni Gaudi’s home estate. It has tons of weird and wonderful strange things about it.

Blurry #1—a storefront in Barcelona, Spain.

Blurry #2—trees, driving through the Pyrenees mountains, Spain.

A little village that appeared driving through the Pyrenees mountains in Spain, heading toward Barcelona.

A closeup

When you drive through a one-stoplight town in the US—so what. When you do that in France or Spain, you see old buildings that are interesting and filled with history!

The Pyrenees look so different compared to the Rocky Mountains in CO—and they have lots of tunnels!

This looked much cooler in person—but still nice rock, driving through the Pyrenees in Spain.

One tower at the Castle in Cite de Carcassonne, France.

Another beautiful cathedral, Carcassonne, France.

The train station in Nice, France, across the street from the hotel. My camera was on macro, but I love how it made the lights blue!

Roses, Spain. A really beautiful place to have a 2nd home—ha ha.

One of my favorite spots—the beach in Sete, France

Blurry #3—Roses, Spain at night

Nimes, France. A beautiful double olive tree (ancient, no doubt)
in front of this ruin at Jardin de la Fontaine (Garden of the Fountain).

Here’s a better view of the castle ruin.

Blurry #4—the moon coming up large on the horizon. Taken while on the highway.

More Pyrenees mountain driving with tons of curvy roads. This one had two whole lanes!
