Retirement is Here!

GREETINGS ALL!

After 33 years as an aesthetician (24 years as a salon owner):

I have retired from the skin care industry effective May 2018!

This past March marked the 24th anniversary of my first Carolyn Ash Skin Care salon and commemorated my 33rd year as a working aesthetician. Now, after over 3 decades in skin care, it’s time to retire.

To all of my clients: I have loved helping you get through the trials and tribulations of problem skin, aging skin, and even no-problem skin and giving you facial treatments for all of these many years. I have written two (great!) books on the subject, done TV shows and seminars, and now it is time for me to change direction and follow a new path. And although I am leaving the skin care industry, I hope you feel wiser and well-educated in how to care for your skin long-term.

Along with closing all of my skin care offices, I have also terminated my mail order business, something I have operated for over 20 years. My website (www.carolynash.com) will remain “up,” however I have taken the shopping area off and no orders can be processed from there. As you can see, the website is a simple one-page announcement of my retirement along with a link to this blogsite.

Regarding this blog: I have worked for many years getting articles (over 700 and counting!) up on this blog to help you with your skin—with or without me. I still have dozens of articles left to publish, so keep checking in to get my advice. See Regarding this blog and its content (link below) to understand what my plan has been and is for continuing this blog—and for you!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for making my long career fruitful, exciting, and rewarding beyond my dreams. I wish you all the best of health—mind, body, and skin!

With deep love and appreciation for my wonderful clients and readers through all of these years,

BE WELL,
:+) Carolyn.

Carolyn Ash Skin Care website gets a face lift!

I thought my website was looking a bit tired and needed an overhaul—a face lift, if you will. And it got one.

I hope you enjoy the exciting new look for Carolyn Ash Skin Care online. I believe the navigation is effortless and I  hope you find the online store easy to maneuver through. If by chance you run into any problems, please let me know so I can correct any issues pronto.

This new site also utilizes PayPal, so if you don’t want to use a credit card and have a PayPal account, you can pay for your orders that way.

I hope you like the new site and have an enjoyable time using it. Thank you for your continued support of my online business!

BE WELL,

Carolyn.

21 Years of Carolyn Ash Skin Care

Twenty one years ago today I opened my first CASC office in Dallas. Its been a great run thus far, and I have so many wonderful clients to thank for all their support for all of these many years. (2015 marks my 30th year as an aesthetician.) I am grateful for all I have been given, especially through the relationships with my clients. Thank you thank you thank you everyone!

Here is the snail mail notice and new business card I sent out to announce the opening of Carolyn Ash Skin Care in 1994. I was leaving The Spa at the Crescent, where I had worked for almost eight years. After careful planning, finding the perfect location, and a lot of courage and support, my dream was coming true.
A little inside tidbit: I actually gave my first facial on February 28th, 1994 because I had a client (Roxanne SI wish I could find you on Facebook!) who just couldnt wait until March 1st! Still, I kept 3/1/94 as my official start date.

Thank you one and all for these past 21 years in business!

Happy New Year 2015!

Wow, that sign is somewhat annoying! Regardless, I want to wish you ALL a very Happy New Year 2015. I am expecting huge changes, deeper relationships, and more love all-around.

I wish for you a new year filled with all that you seek. Remember: Thoughts become things. Think about the things you want in your life, not about the things you dont want.

Gommage more often, get more facials than you did last year, don’t spend too much time in front of the mirror worrying about what you see, and spend more time with those you love.

Peace and love and butterflies,

:+) Carolyn.

Happy 15th Anniversary to Carolyn Ash Skin Care!

Fifteen years ago, on March 1st 1994, Carolyn Ash Skin Care opened its doors. And 2009 marks my 24th year as a skin care pro (aesthetician)—WOW!

It has been wonderful having my own business(es), starting out in Dallas, then moving up to Chicago, and now living in beautiful Boulder, Colorado.

In all the cities I’ve worked and grown businesses, it has always been the warmth and support of my many clients that has kept me going, now to year 24. I love my work and look forward to many more years helping people with their skin.

I want to give a big shout out to all of you who have been so dedicated and have supported me all of these years!

On the Eve of a New Year...

Greetings All!

I am excited about this new year 2009! I will finally have the opportunity to post information for you any time I want to with my new blog! Over the past few weeks I have wanted to start this process but I was moving into a new home, adopting a dog, and getting everything together for the holidays. Now that all of that is behind me—almost—I am looking forward to writing articles with you in mind, working to help you understand how to take better care of your skin as well as offering other information that may and may not be related to skin care.

I will make this one short and wish you and your family and friends all things good for the new year and beyond. January 1st always feels like a fresh start, a chance to do things differently and to enjoy every moment—starting now.

BE WELL, and keep checking in to see what’s new on this blog!
:+) Carolyn Ash.
